Your comfort is our starting point

We know that dental visits can feel stressful, and that’s completely understandable. The good news? It doesn’t have to be that way. As your San Antonio sedation dentists, we’ve made it our mission to help you feel genuinely comfortable and relaxed during your appointment.

With gentle sedation options like nitrous oxide and oral sedation, we can help ease those worries and ensure you have a positive dental experience from start to finish.

Good questions, honest answers

Is sedation dentistry safe?

When administered by a trained professional, both nitrous oxide and oral sedation have excellent safety records. We will conduct a thorough review of your health history to ensure you are a good candidate.

What is the difference between the options?

Nitrous oxide is a mild sedative that you inhale. It works quickly to induce relaxation and wears off just as fast. Oral sedation involves taking a prescribed pill before your appointment for a deeper level of calm.

Will I be asleep during the procedure?

No, you will remain conscious and able to communicate with our team. Most patients simply feel deeply relaxed and are less aware of the dental procedure itself.

Can I drive home after my appointment?

With nitrous oxide, yes. Its effects wear off within minutes. For oral sedation, you will need a responsible adult to drive you to and from your appointment for your safety.

Is sedation only for nervous patients?

Not at all. Sedation is an excellent option for anyone with a strong gag reflex, difficulty getting numb, or those who need to undergo a long or complex procedure.

Sedation, Simplified

Our San Antonio sedation dentists know how to make your visit simple and enjoyable:

We’ll start with a friendly conversation about how you’re feeling and what would help you most.
Together, we’ll choose the sedation option that works best for you.
We’ll walk you through everything step by step, so there are no surprises.
Throughout your appointment, we’ll make sure you’re feeling good and completely supported.
Before you leave, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable and ready for the rest of your day.

I’ve always had awful experiences at the dentist, so when my friend told me she had a great experience at KLT Dentistry, I made an appointment. She was right — everyone is so kind and awesome! I’m happy I finally found a dentist where I won’t feel anxious and am getting great care.

Ariana R.

This is by far THE best medical/dental office I have ever been a patient at in any state, country, or discipline. A business that has invested in technology, staff training, and selection, as well as patient care and comfort.

Simply Amazing! The staff I interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable, and caring.
